Ingredients:
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts optional
Instructions:
Line an 8x8 inch 20x20 cm square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter
Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring each time until the mixture is smooth and all the chocolate is melted
Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt
If desired, fold in the chopped nuts
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set
Once set, use the parchment paper overhangs to lift the fudge out of the pan
Cut the fudge into squares or rectangles
